Looking south into Glacier National park from the top of Bear’s Hump trail, Waterton International Peace Park. The view is incredible.
This photos is from a magical day during my visit to Glacier-Waterton National parks. I started with a great ranger led hike to Iceberg Lake (I kept waiting for good weather which we finally got). Then I drove up to Waterton International Peace Park in Canada. The scenery at several overlooks on that drive were amazing. I then hiked the Bear’s Hump trail and stayed at the Prince of Wales Hotel which was quite nice.

I can’t remember the temple name, I’ll add it once I have a chance to go through my photos and organize them. The temple is in the Angkor park area, which includes: Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm (which is famous for the banyans growing over the temple) and many more.

Sewu temple is the second largest Buddhist temple in Indonesia, Borobudur is the largest. The Sewa temple is located in the Prambanan temple complex in Yogyakarta, Indonesia (about 1 km away from Prambanan temple). They are rebuilding many of the temples on the site which now lie in ruins.
Candi Sewu was likely built in the 8th century as the royal palace at the end of the Rakai Panangkaran kingdom.

Borobudur is an amazing Buddhist temple built in the 9th century. This site is well worth a visit. It is located outside Yogyakarta, Java, Indonesia. I have posted more photos and a video from my visit to the Borobudur Buddhist temple site, which is a world heritage site.
Borobudur includes 504 Buddha statues. I didn’t notice the bat in this photo, when I was visiting.

I did notice this lizard.

View of Rocky Mountains
Rocky Mountain National Park is as wonderful as you would expect. Amazing views, great hiking. Wonderful place. This photo is from the Calapyso Cascade trail (starting from the Allens Park trailhead), which is a great hike.

View of the landscape of Dinosaur National Monument. If you look closely you can see the trail.
Dinosaur National Monument in Utah is isolated, and while the scenery is nice, it isn’t what I would call spectacular. You can spot fossilized dinosaur bones which are amazing in fact, but almost undetectable within the surroundings.
They are about to open up a visitor’s center which might have some nice exhibits (it wasn’t open when I went).
