Unmade Stone Temple in Siem Reap

Many stones laid out in the jungle that used to make a stone temple

Vietnam War Memorial, Washington DC

Vietnam War Memorial reflecting visitors, trees and the Washington Monument

Photo of the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington DC. Most of the photo shows a reflection in the shining granite of the memorial. The memorial has the names of those Americans killed during the war engraved into the face (which can be seen in the photo if you look closely).

If you look closely you can see a reflection of the Washington Monument.

Electrical Outlets on Tree Trunk

Electrical outlets on a large tree

I spotted this in Luang Prabang, Laos. I couldn’t really understand why.

A few days later I visited the night market which is along this street and they string up electricity for all the vendors. That still doesn’t exactly explain why someone decided to mount an electrical outlet box on a tree trunk but I do believe it was put there in support of the electrical needs for the night market.
