Dinosaur National Monument in Utah is isolated, and while the scenery is nice, it isn’t what I would call spectacular. You can spot fossilized dinosaur bones which are amazing in fact, but almost undetectable within the surroundings.
They are about to open up a visitor’s center which might have some nice exhibits (it wasn’t open when I went).

Dinosaur bone, Dinosaur National Monument. You have to look pretty closely but it is there (about the whole middle third of the picture actually).
