Common sandpipers on the beach in Tanjung Piai National Park – the Southernmost Point in Continental Asia (near Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Singapore).
The Birds look like they are the “common sandpiper” to me but please comment if you have an accurate identification.

Banana tree leaves while driving up to Fraser’s Hill, Malaysia. For 20 km (more probably) before you get to the small town of Fraser’s Hill you drive through a nice forest.

Santubong Jungle Trek, Mount Santubong, Damai, Borneo, Malaysia.
Quite a wonderful hike that is very steep as you climb to the summit (the longest steep climb I have ever done, by far). This photo is taken on the trail that runs along the base of the mountain.

I took this photo while walking from Batu Feringgi to Tanjung Bungah. There were some nice views but it probably isn’t very smart to walk it as considerable distances have no sidewalk at all and you have to walk within a foot of where cars and trucks zoom by. And even when there is a sidewalk you have to be watchful for huge holes, feet across and several feet deep, you could easily fall through.
