The top of the Mesa Trail in Boulder, Colorado offers a great view of the Rocky Mountains. It is a wonderful, steep (over 3,000 feet in elevation gain), 6 mile, round trip, hike.

View from Village Inn balcony, looking north toward Waterton International Peace Park, Canada. As you can see the view is amazing. The Village Inn motel rooms are very minimal, but the view is beautiful – it is definitely worth staying at for the view alone. Curious Cat Glacier National park photos.
