I think this areas is called the Leper King Terrace on the North end of the Terrace of the Elephants in the Angkor Thom complex, north of Bayon temple (Siem Reap, Cambodia). There is a narrow pathway that winds between the wall of the terrace.

Entrance to the West Wing of the White House with the Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB) in the background. The President’s oval office is located in the West Wing along with offices for few top level staff and also the press briefing room. The EEOB houses many more staff for the Executive Office of the President.
